Star
Star is a 15.3 h. Standardbred gelding. He has been
in the HLU adoption program for 10 years and was adopted by 3 different
homes in the past plus he has been in numerous foster homes and
boarding facilities. It wasn’t until he came to our farm quite a few
months ago that I was able to finally figure out that he was starving
for attention.
Most of the volunteers who visit our farm are high school and college
age girls and they are all drawn to Star. The more attention he gets,
the more willing he is to do anything he is asked. A young lady named
Paige is currently working with him under saddle and he is doing
beautifully. We feel he is ready to find that forever home with the
perfect person who will shower him with love and continue teaching him
everything he needs to know.
Star does need to be kept in a pasture separate from other horses, but
he is okay over the fence with them.
